Coffee Cups and Build-a-Bear!

Morning Cup is the name of this stamp set from Stampin' Up! It's perfect to watercolor with an Aqua Brush, blender pen or you could use pastels too (chalk). I used an aqua brush and the Lattice embossing folder for the background. I think it looks like a linen tablecloth - perfect for a morning cup of coffee with a friend.

Close ups of the background. I'm loving these embossing folders!

Last night, I held a Mom and Me Build-a-Bear Workshop. It was really fun and all the girls went home with a closet-ful - I mean tin full of clothes and accessories for their bears. We used a CD tin and magnet sheets. After putting the ribbon through holes punched in the tin with the Crop-o-dile for a handle, I found the tin would not fit tight. Bump it into something and it might pop open so we put a ribbon around the middle for extra insurance. It can be slipped on and off. Looks pretty cute too!

The scalloped square cut with the Big Shot does not have a magnet, the magnetized bear holds it on.
Another tip - the little sizzlets with the bear accessories - hat, purse, flowers, etc. will not cut through a magnet sheet. So, what I did was use two-way glue. I glued the backs of these items and then set them aside to dry. Once dry, they are kind of like a post-it note that you can stick over and over again. Worked great with these bears - didn't have a magnet but still stuck. Another option would be to stick the accessory to the adhesive side of the magnet sheet and carefully hand cut it.

Cute boy bear with messenger bag.
