Chickens!

A chicken bookmark?
I needed to give a little thank you to someone and we both have
chickens so I thought this was appropriate.  : )

On a related note, we now have REAL chickens!  Sam wanted to raise chickens for 4-H so we decided to take the plunge and do it.  Here he is in the coop (it was someone's fish house originally, but they never finished it - we spruced it up and this is what it looks like now.)

Randy and Sam.

The flock - back in May, they are bigger now!

Below - A little timid the first time going outside in their new run.

Club Jars and Chapstick Dresses!

Here are some little jars I found at the store.  Aren't they short and cute?
This is what the gals received for signing up for Stamp Club this round.

These mini little dresses are actually chapstick holders.  Just die cut 2 dresses with the Big Shot and put a box in between them! Voila!

These were attached to the gals' order bags a while back.

Owls, Golf and Doily Dresses

What a combination!  Just wanted to post a couple of projects that I've made in the last few months.

The first is a CUTE owl that I CASED from someone on the Stampin' Up! website with a few minor changes.  Fun little girly owl for Easter!

It's a box I put a bag of candy in for a little gift.

The grouping below is a Birthday gift I put together with a 'certificate' for a round of golf.  He liked it!  Just run the golf ball through the Big Shot with the polka dot embossing folder and it looks like the real thing.  (actually - I should have turned it upside down so the dots are indented instead of sticking out - but oh well)

Here's my Mom's Mother's day gift:  A card with a cute little dress and doily background with a decorated jar with goodies in it.  For the top of the dress - I cut a separate piece of CS down the middle so it looks like a little sweater with mini pearls for buttons.  Don't forget to emboss the envelope flap!

It's about time! and Mustache Bash!

Yikes!  it's been a few months since I've posted.  Busy, busy, busy.  The first photo is a continuation of my last post with this set.  It's a group of 3x3 cards and envelopes made with the Feeling Sentimental stamp set from the Sale-a-Bration catalog.  I really like this set, especially if you need a masculine card.

Below are photos from our Mustache Bash in March.  The first are the birthday bags I made with mens' ties closing a paper bag with a mustache clothespin.

We had fun - did some mustache trivia, did 'Name that 'stache' and drank our drinks with mustache straws.  Fun theme party!

Here's our Stamp group, with 'staches of course!  Behind the mustache'd gals is a clothesline of ties and the 'Name that Stache' poster of some famous upper lips.
