Caution - Look out!!

Hi everyone! If you order something during Sale-a-Bration, this is the warning that you will see on the box from Stampin' Up! I love it!!!

Sweet Pea and Fox and Friends

Hi stampers! It's time for a couple of pictures. The first card is from the "Fox and Friends" clear mount stamp set. It is sooooo cute with 7 different little animals to choose from including a giraffe, whale, monkey, turtle, owl and lion. I designed this card to be used for a baby shower and included the "Small Wonder" sentiment from the Whimsical Words stamp set. And - it HAD to have a matching envelope, so here it is. Maybe a little too much cutesy but I love to match projects.......... and it's fun to dress things up!

The second card is a very simple 3x6 card that is made with a piece of designer paper from the Sweet Pea collection embellished with a few of the Sweet Pea stitched felt pieces. This design was CASED from Splitcoast - I don't remember who- but thank you! The felt pieces are really, really cute!

P.S. I couldn't get the picture to rotate - it's supposed to be portrait instead of landscape so you'll have to tilt your head to look at it sideways. (Stephanie - if you are reading this and know how to fix it - please do : - ) Thanks!

That's all for now!

Our Annual Stamp Club Picture - Christmas 2009

And here is a picture of the calendar we made with our fab photo! It has a magnet on the back so you can stick it on the fridge or a file cabinet. Sorry - I didn't have the best of lighting for a clearer picture.

We also made these Valentine treat holders using the pillow box die with the Big Shot!

To those of you in our Stamp Club: Keep thinking about a name for us!

Our order is coming in on Thursday - I'll deliver on Friday!!
There's even a Big Shot on it's way. And the amazing Top Note too!!

Have a good night everyone!

Stamp Club Project Exchange

I'm finally posting these pictures! Between being sick for two days this week, Stamp Club and a Workshop, I haven't gotten much else accomplished! Anyway, here is a sampling of some of the talent in our Stamp Club. I had trouble with my camera that night so I didn't get a picture of everything I had wanted. Our theme was anything with a snowman.

Here is a super-cute card made by Jess. I love this color! Do you see the sparklies on these "Two Cool Dudes"?

Here is a sweet set made by Sharon. She used the Petals-a-Plenty impressions folder and chaulked some color on the design. The card, envelope and candle holder all match. I'm always into matchy-matchy projects.

This amazing stair-step card was made by Stephanie - she copied the idea from someone on SplitCoast and used the Merry Details Sizzlet for embellishment. Very professionally made!!

Here are a couple of cuties that Rhea made. They are little tic-tac holders.
Fun-Fun!

Hmmmm......what a difference a wing makes!

Hi Stampers! This new bird punch is the greatest!! There are so many ways to use it and just by changing a wing's color or DSP can create a whole new look. Thought I'd show you a couple of options.

Happy Saturday! Where has this week gone? I did get some time to work on new projects. Here's a little preview for the gals in my Stamp Club : -)

The first picture is a little 3x3 card (I love this size!!) with the new bird punch from the Occassions Mini Catalog and the Scalloped Edge punch fromt the Sale-a-Bration mini. White and Red are great colors together!

For the little matching envelope, I used my paper cutter to trim just a smidgen off of the back flap to make sure it was straight (it has a curve to it). Then I used the scallop punch on the edge and added a strip of red cardstock behind it so it matched the card. I love stuff that matches!

The next picture features the new clear mounted stamp set Vintage Vogue and Rich Razzleberry. I really like the long floral stamp on the bottom, this will be a nice stamp to frame images.

Boy! It was so nice to be able to see through the blocks for placement of the flowers and leaves. These clear blocks from Stampin' Up! are SO clear - it's hard to describe but they are definately high quality. I think I will be choosing clear mount for all my future stamp sets!!! Fun -Fun!

More Christmas projects!

TGIF! It's Friday!! I hope to have some time to work on some projects for our Stamp Club later this month. I need to spend some time with the brand new fabulous clear blocks from Stampin' Up! They are so nice - they're curved on all 4 sides and are very comfortable to hold. While I get busy making some new projects I thought I would share some previous cards and items from Christmas.
