That's Tropical!
Hawaiian Birthday Bag!
The flower is from the Island Floral die cut for the Big Shot. I found instructions on how to construct this flower on "CreationsbyPatti". You need 5 flowers total, 4 folded in between each petal, string these 4 flowers on a separate thin cord of some sort (yarn, hemp) and thread all through the 5th flower and adjust folds. Check out Patti's blog for more details, she did a great job! Oh - I also ran the flowers through the Perfect Polka dot embossing folder for a little dimension.
Greenhouse Gala!
This is a card made with the new Greenhouse Gala DSP - I love the colors and designs on these papers - including MarinaMist and Early Espresso! I used the stamp set "Friends never Fade" and the new 1/8" Marina Mist ribbon. There's also a tiny pearl at the top of the image if you look closely. Anybody know what that is called? a cross between a pineapple and asparagus - some flower? My 8 year old says it's a pinecone!

Tropical Party!
I love this basket! The Basket and Blooms die cut was used for this but instead of making a round basket, a square box is adhered between the two basket sides. The Lattice Embossing folder is amazing - makes it look like a real straw basket. I CASED this idea from CreationsbyPatti, she's really got some fun things on her blog.
That textured background really adds a lot to a project!
And a matching card using the Tropical Party stamp set!

Here's a couple of cards that I made with the Build-a-Bear die cuts and the Big Shot. These bears are so cute!

Because I Care
This is a new stamp set from Stampin' Up's new catalog! - Because I Care. It is a level one hostess set of a hydrangea and a few other coordinating images. It's very simple to use but a super classy set. A person can just stamp it in one color or they could stamp it in black and then color it in with another color using a blender pen or aqua painter. I used one of the new core colors -Marina Mist for the ink, cardstock and new narrorw 1/8" ribbon. Love that color!
