How can you start a day without coffee? Perk Up! is a fun set that has a lot of images included such as coffee and tea cups. The finished card isn't my favorite but I love the embellishments on it like the colors Tempting Turquoise and Red Red together, the Playdate DSP, and the big buttons. I paper pieced the coffee pot with another DSP print and also made some paper lace with the eyelet edge punch. The lace is made by punching a strip of cardstock with the eyelet punch. I think the real key is to break down the fibers of the strip with a bone folder or the edge of a table. Doing this makes the lace a lot easier to fold and mold into shape. I used sticky strip to attach it to the card.
